Staged Photography
Staged photography is made up of images that are constructed so that they are perfect, and generally appear to be like stills from movies. Photographers control aspects such as, the buildings, environment, subjects and objects, the options are limitless.

Gregory Crewdson

This image appears to be taken within a 90s middle class American neighbourhood on a late afternoon. There appears to be no main focus in the image and instead it is just meant to be looked at as a whole. Within this image we follow simple colours with the nice splash of the sunset also being incorporated.

I believe that this image is supposed to radiate a quiet and calm feeling. And it does that quite well. Within this image there is no one aspect that is supposed to be looked at, and as said before, the image should be looked at as a whole.

I believe the photographer of this image (Gregory Crewdson) made this image so that the viewer would feel relaxed and be able to view that the image is quiet, and brings a sense of calm.

I believe this image is quite successful, I believe it portrays this type of photography in an excellent way. I feel like I am about to see some conversation between the two people in the car, or a title for a movie is about to pop up.

Jeff Wall

This image looks like it was taken a long time ago, with an old camera. We can see this by the quality of the image and also the type of clothes that the subjects are wearing. However, this type of effect can be made within post-production editing. The main focus of this image is the papers flying through the air and the subjects that are attempting to grab the papers.
